When I sat down to write my real estate bio I, of course, reviewed bios of other agents. So much of what I read was great, but it was about what they have accomplished and how they approach a transaction. I want my clients, friends, and customers to know why...and then how I got here.
As far back as I can remember I have always wanted to help people. Call it cliche in a real estate bio, but truly...I recall so clearly being only about 7 or 8 years old and watching commercials for The Peace Corps and for Save the Children and really wanting to make a difference.
Fast forward to adulthood and being faced with how do I help people, and how do I provide for my family and be a role model for my daughters? How do I lead a purpose driven life, while being able to keep up in this fast paced world we live in? At this point you are probably scratching your head...real estate? Yes, real estate.
I started real estate a little later in the game, in my late 30’s with two young daughters and a husband whom had been in the business in some facet for more than 2 decades. He saw something in me and encouraged me to take a leap...he would come home with these amazing stories of his clients tearful emotions at settlement and the deep hugs and beautiful letters he would receive from clients. And that moved me. I wanted to be that someone for someone else. I wanted to have an impact on what would quite possibly be the biggest decision of their lives and their biggest investment in their families future.
I took the leap, with all the love and support he offered. In the process I found a passion, and a purpose. I pride myself on taking more than a “hands on” approach, I put a little piece of my heart in every single relationship I make. Because this is a relationship business. It is a very emotional business that gets so often overlooked.
I am not just selling a house...I am selling a dream, a step towards your future, a foundation for yourself and your family. I approach every single home sale like it is my very own. Reputation is everything. Doing the right thing is everything.
And for those of you who like “stats”, and in the art of full transparency, I have been a licensed Realtor since 2015. By year end 2019 I have individually sold more than 40 million dollars in real estate. As a husband and wife team, we have collectively sold over 100 million dollars in real estate since 2011, and have had the privilege to serve more than 365 people in their real estate endeavors.
